Why do people refer to me in the third person even when Im present? Also when I was leaving after work today everyone was like 'oh you've certainly done very well today' even though the others had done more than me. Is it because Im quiet and they see me as not one of them?

    It's because you're quiet I presume.
I use to get that when I was younger and shyer etc.

I think they mean well (perhaps).

Maybe it's the drool hanging from your chin? Or your love of licking windows?

maybe you're standoffish and they don't know what to say to you. I get this from my parents friends. Don't take it too personally.
