If you're wanting something extra, try upright rows too.

can't do upright rows my rotator cuffs are dodgy as hell....it's probably the exercise that would benefit me the most as well because my traps are pretty naff as well.

rows lieing on a bench, bent over rows, as I said deadlifts will hit them

to be honest I doubt you're at the stage where you need to completley isolate the rear delt, its a very small muscle - stick with big compounds

if u want isolation maybe do facepulls? They're easy to do and its my favourite excercise from the rear delt selection in ws4sb.....

I disagree I don't think that bent rows or DL hits them enough, I think its a very undertrained muscle so as far as balance goes wouldnt hurt to throw in some isolation... that assumes he's serious about training ect...

I agree that its not that important... can skip if you want kinda thing

I like face pulls or rear delt flyes of any kind (machine or dumbbells). Doesn't really matter what exercise you do so long as you do something.

yeah I was going to do facepulls. The rear delt flyes seem to aggrevate my rotator cuff a bit as well.
