Can anyone give me any advice on starting muay thai with bill starrs 5x5 lifting programme. I'm in about week 4 and lifitng should get serious soon.

Although my friend is trying to get me to start muay thai, factoring my conditioning/fitness is ****, how bad do you think training MT will be, I went to my begginers session yday and my lats are sore, don't know if I should train today.

Question is.... for a complete begginer... someone who has **** fitness ect, how many times a week can I train MT without affecting my weekly PB's.

If your going to say varies from person to person don't bother replying, I know that already.

    Thanks

lol, the least you could do is recomend a structure?

Say I have to train 3 out of 7 days for bill starrs, where should I put MT? during one of the 2 consecutive days off, or after one of the lighter days.

If you can do both things... the nature has been really good with you.

do weights after muay thai. preferably a day after but definately not a day before because your muscles need time to rest.

you could also do muay thai earlier in the day and then do weights later.

I wouldn't last squatting 3x a week along with MT. It depends on where your priorities lie to be honest, you can't be all things to all people.
