    So I'm now thinking to opt for a joint degree after my LLB.

    Are those MBA/JDs that some 40+ schools in the US are offering a great deal better than JD if I want to climb up the "law firm ladder"?

    Also, in case I don't get a working visa in the US, will the obtained knowledge be useful when applying to magic circle firms back in the UK or Europe? And if not, will the MBA part serve me well anywhere in the world?
