Back from my RVC interview today. Hard to say how it went, seemed to be going only quite nicely until they suddenly decided to start with the sciency questions and started asking stuff I hadn't got a clue about and kept pushing for answers.
Will have to just wait and see now!

Yer - i found that too.. really hard 2 knw if it went well or not- they certainly didnt give much away! Did u like the HH campus? ur a grad right?
From what people have said on here the grad interviews sound like they are quite a grilling, and very pushy. So I'm hoping it wasn't too bad that I was sat there likefor chunks of it not having a clue what the person was talking about! 30 minutes actually seemed to go surprisingly quickly. And I was pleased with myself, I remembered to breath whilst talking, I have a tendency when I am nervous to start talking quickly and run out of breath and look like a fish gulping for air!
And having a swingy chair to sit on was cruel...I had to resist the temptation to swing round and round in circles whilst talking! -

Did you guys get the impression when they were trying to catch you out (more than they have at other interviews)?

Don't get me wrong, they seemed friendly enough, but just quite intense! -

I felt like Liv were trying to catch me out all the time! When I got into the car with dad afterwards, he laughed when i told him and said it sounded like they were deliberately trying to get me worked up, it worked!! :P:

A swivel chair at interviews would have meant immediate rejection for me
I just swivel them side to side obliviously! I had a hard enough time cutting down my usual excessive hand gesturing and not fiddling with things too much!
Cambridge gave me a pen and paper to work something out and I chewed it, doodled a bit on the paper, and then came up with the answerWhen I saw one of my interviewers at the offer day he asked if I was the doodler

and i spent the entirety of both my interviews repeatedly doing up then un-doing the buttons on my shirt cuffs. -

Yeh, it took *a lot* of concentration not to swing to and fro on it. Felt like apologising for my look of intense concentration and blaming the chair!
Glad I RVC don't expect you to do anything with paper and pen - I would have been the same, chewed up pen and doodled paper without even realising! -

Sounds like it went good then.
Did you have anyone from lincoln interviewing you? do you know who it was?
Overall I had a lot of fun yesterday (it was really, really cool) and I really hope I did well enough to get an offer. -

I actually don't remember who was interviewing me. There was this really funny guy and a german lady. I'm not that good with names, so I don't remember what they said when they introduced themselves. But they were soooo cool to talk to! It was quite easy to communicate with them when I think of how nervous I was about my english. xD

Psh, redheads ftw.
Saying that, I'm a bit of a traitor because I occasionally dye my hair brown, but it's pretty ginger at the moment -
