Oxfam Haiti Earthquake Appeal watch

    • Thread Starter

Hey guys, please read this below and then donate on our JustGiving page please. :o:

As we all should know, a terrible tragedy has struck the nation of Haiti in January. A 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated the already impoverished country, killing thousands and injuring even more. Countless citizens are now without shelter, food, clean water, and medical aid.

In response to this, Josh Resoun and Andrew Barron, two students at the University of East Anglia, are participating in the Livewire HearingAid 2010 Charity Fundraiser known as JAILBREAK. The object of this project is to "escape" Norwich and travel as far away as possible within 48 hours without spending any money whatsoever. Sound impossible? Last year teams managed to get as far as Brussels and Paris. Train lines, coaches, and even airlines are happy to supply free tickets abroad for the sake of cause.

We humbly ask you to donate as little or as much as you are comfortable giving. We vow that every penny we raise goes straight to the Oxfam Haiti Earthquake Appeal. Please see it in your heart to help the stricken Haitian people.
