Accidentally, when I applied through UCAS I deferred my entry for a certain uni. Then I emailed that uni and let them know of my mistake. Then when I got my offer I saw that in the email my start date was 2010 but on UCAS it was still 2011. It was also 2011 on the admissions letters on UCAS track. I have emailed them but haven't gotten an answer yet so I was wondering if you guys would know anything about it..
is it maybe just that track hasn't had a moment to change it..
but then again when they had heard back from the uni wouldn't they know that the start date had changed?
Thanks in advance

Telephone the university concerned and ask for confirmation of your course start date and ask whether or not they have informed UCAS of this matter. It may well be that the university have updated the information in their records but have neglected to inform UCAS - track will only show what the universities have told UCAS about, they are just the administrators and will have no more information about your application status than anyone here can give you. They will tell you to contact the university as they won't just change your entry date without receiving information from the universities regardless of how many letters you happen to have from them.
It will more than likely be that the university have not updated your records with UCAS and if you ask them to do it then they will do.
