Has anyone out there done/doing it?

What's it like? What did you do afterwards?

    Hi,

I know this post was from a long time ago, but I thought it would be useful to add a reply anyway.

I completed the foundation at Belfast Met in 2009-2010 and it was fantastic. The tutors are great and the work we produced was of a very high standard. I went on to do an HND in Fine Art and then become co-director of Catalyst Arts. I am now working as a professional artist and gallery manager and can honestly say that I would not be in this position without the support and encouragement of the staff at Belfast Met.

One of the best things about doing it at Belfast Met rather than the Year Zero at the Art School is that it is free, whereas the University of Ulster charges degree level fees that you need a student loan to pay for.

http://fadbelfastmet.wordpress.com has some more details of the course.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
