Limited to people who are yet to go to university as otherwise there might be 46-year old surgeons or eminent historians on here lol.

Intelligence is so subjective and so hard to judge that it is difficult to reach a concrete conclusion. However, you could probably rank people by their academic results or their IQ if you wanted to.

They are right.
Good academic results show you know how to revise and remember information. Although don't get me wrong, you need to be intelligent to know how to do this.

Intelligence of a person can be seen in ways other that academics..
