OK I know you probably don't care lol but if you could just give me a hint as to which to choose

    Dundee:

    - I think their low entry requirements put me off, because I only need ABBBB at Higher, whereas HW wants AAAB for Finance and Business Law.

    - It is away from home so would cost more and I wouldn't be able to get a car.

    - There isn't as much to do as there is in Edinburgh.

    Heriot Watt:

    - I'd be 20 mins from the campus so I can live at home and save 5k a year, so I could get a good car.

    - There is high entry requirements so I get the impression that this is saying something about the quality of the course.

    - I'm not too sure about it's reputation, and specifically for the Finance/Business area.

    - I know people at HW so it would make fitting in easier.

    - I would also be in Edinburgh, so I could still see all my school friends etc.

    - I would be able to work in Finance, or Law (upon completing a one year full time conversion course after my degree).

What do you think I should choose, I have no idea and its killing me
I know you weren't asking me ... but I thought I'd put my 2 cents in.

By just reading what you've said here it seems to me you already know which you should choose. HW seems to have a lot more pros for you and it looks like you might have already subconsciously decided that!

Oh no I was really just asking for opinions, not anyone specifically...

Thanks for your opinion, and I actually thin you're right, it's just I don't want to miss an 'opportunity', and so I want to make sure I won't regret not choosing Dundee...

Is a law degree a law degree nonetheless?

    You know...lol really confusing.

edinburgh seem to be slow in all areas to be honest
I thnk it's the thought that after all the work I put in and having followed me since 1st year the idea of me not getting an offer seems mad in her eyes, she also comes up with interesting admissions conspiracy theorys

I'm in the same position. I keep going over reasons for choosing each uni and I KNOW where I want to go but I keep looking elsewhere in case I'm making the wrong decision.

    Don't think so

Plus I'll have wasted a year because I wont be able to go to another uni unti Sept 2011!

I didn't care this much first time round. I was 17, I had all the time in the world. By the time I do this degree, my PGDE and probation year I'll be a few months shy of 30! I can't waste years lol.
