    He told my friend I'm 'his kinda girl' but he's too shy to do anything about it, today I gave in and texted him randomly for the first time to say good luck in his driving test and he doesn't reply, not even a thank you

    I mean we're not like close or anything but we do see each other on a weekly basis and chat a bit.

    Why would he do this?

    Does it seem like he's intentionally ignoring me?

    Who cares if he's intentionally ignoring you, because if he does like you, he obviously means no harm by it. Maybe he just couldn't text back...

    If he's too shy to do anything, there's no point hanging around and waiting for him to do something.

    yeah who says you have to wait for the boy to make a move...go for it. you need to just find the confidence!! if it doesnt work out, you'll be i nthe same place, so nothing to lose
