How can we not? I don't see it happening to other teams even close to as much as it happens to us...

I am sick and tired of it. A young man's career may have been irreperably damaged by something and someone so stupid as to take on a philosophy and not recognise the consequences of their 'footballing' ideology... Of course he didn't want to break a leg, but he did, and must live with the horror.

We need to acknowledge that we are victims, and like any good victim, bounce back and use the rage to drive on and win in our own way. We need to demolish the filth of this league and take our crown.

I am so proud of all our men today. Boys do not perform like that in the face of such pain and fear... they did so, so well.
I think I share too much of your passion to argue at all. But I think whatever Arsenal try and do; nothing will happen. It's too engrained in the English League and would be fundamentally changing it.

On a side-note, Vermaelen is an amazing defender. Swap for Carvalho plz?
The Verminator has now scored 9 goals this season and most have been with his feet not his head. 8 of those goals have been in the league. Quite a surreal statistic for a CB.

Switching the focus, Eboue was immense today! Running and the Stoke defence time and time again, loved his thunderous strike aswell

    Come on Rambo!
Hard to see coming from a Cardiff view. He's one of ours, born and bred.
I don't think the challenge was that awful. Mistimed yes, but not malicious. You could see from his reaction that he didn't mean any harm. Just one of those things.
Lets just hope it looks worse than what it is. I'm sure the Arsenal medical team know what they are doing as they got Eduardo back playing.
    Anyway, get well soon Aaron.

Definitely, definitely justified his fee. Been an absolute revelation and a rock in the side.

I do feel a bit worried about the loss of Song, even though the matches he will miss are ones we are expected to wins easily. Assuming Denilson is still out, I am guessing we'll see Eastmond or another youngster in that role. Rosicky to fill in for Ramsey now.
To be fair he's going to miss burnley and hull away. Both should be considered 3 points if we want to win the league with or without song. He was always going to get booked again at some point so better against what we would consider "easy" games.

Also, anyone else think Sol was immense today?

Does anyone know how close Fabregas and Ramsey were? If they are close then I can't see him leaving in the summer as everyone is speculating, especially as he has a great chance of lifting that Premier League trophey as the captain of an incredible football team.

It is brilliant, haha. I genuinely wish he was dutch and not belgian. Our team would be complete then. :coma:

yes totally, I love how he barks orders at the back! It's also reassuring to have two centre backs who dominate in the air

If you can't beat them, join them.

People have a go at me for suggesting cheating is the way forward but we have no other option.

If we want this to stop happening, we need Diaby, Song and Vermaelen to start breaking legs themselves.

Btw, Sol...what a ****in' legend. I feel embarrassed for my comments to him arriving. I thought he was going to kill someone after the Ramsey incident.

If we win the league he won't leave. I'd find that very hard to picture. It kinda doesn't matter how close they were as they're team mates but if they were best buddies of course that would exaggerate the emotions further.

Eboue was brilliant today and i'm glad Wenger has stuck with him. He's growing fantastically.
    Fabregas was integral again.
Nasri ran and ran and ran and he was very very useful in linking play and moving the ball about and is becoming the player we know he can be.
Our defence looked very good in the second half [didn't watch the first].
Song was great at collecting the ball, he did his job perfectly, his positioning was spot on.
I was wrong to doubt Clichy. [This was against a fairly static Stoke though]
    Walcott is still unconvincing.

    None of this matters.

Emmanuel-Thomas would have been perfect but he's loaned out isn't he? :/

I'm not sure. But he looked pretty upset/shocked at the whole affair

This is what I'm hoping, because if Fabregas is determined enough to win this title then I have every faith that he will bring the team to glory, when he plays well, the whole team plays well, and when Arsenal play well, Arsenal win.

FFS forgot there was a time limit on it. If he'd not got booked he would have to be sent off to be suspended

IMO Sol should be given another contract. He is immensely useful to have and puts silvestre to shame. Would also help having him in the dressing room. I doubt he's on the huge contract he would have been on before as he would be grateful to be playing champions league again. A true Arsenal legend.
