    Did he say that?

    :facepalm2:
No, but I wouldn't put it past him, tbh.

Predictions for West Ham? From the injury news I've heard so far, Fabregas and Rosicky are expected to be back whereas Gallas is expected to miss at least two more games, and Wenger says Campbell can play on a once-a-week basis, so I'd go:

    ---------------------------Almunia---------------------------
    ----Sagna--------Campbell-------Vermaelen---------Clichy----
    ----------------------------Song----------------------------
    ------------------Fabregas-------Diaby----------------------
    ---Rosicky----------------------------------------Arshavin---
    -------------------------Bendtner----------------------------

I don't remember Nasri ever playing on the right, so I'm going to guess that Rosicky will be taken off for Nasri on around 70 mins, and Nasri and Arshavin will switch flanks.

My prediction score-wise is 3-0 to L'Arse (Fabregas, Fabregas, Bendtner).

I think we're likely to concede one, at least.

4-1 Arsenal, West Ham scoring first.

Nasri has played on the right plenty of times. Goal against Porto is a prime example.

Yeah, but that was in RCM. I meant as a winger. Wasn't he a left-winger who cut in a lot when we bought him?

Wasn't Nasri playing in Cesc's position against Porto? Rosicky was on the right, IIRC......

OK that wasn't the best example, but he definitely has played on the right wing many times, linking up with Sagna quite well too iirc.

Oh, in any case I'm forgetting Walcott. I think he'll get some gametime as well... So the game will probably end with us playing Walcott on the right and Nasri/Rosicky on the left (whoever doesn't start).

Cesc's role is his referred role, iirc he played in the centre at Marseilles, he was only shifted out wide to allow him to stay in the team and to accommodate Cesc.
Then I'm still guessing it was LCM, because I remember seeing multiple vedios of him cutting in to hit it with his right. But I'm not disagreeing that he plays on the right anymore.

I agree with you - a Cesc-Nasri partnership would be awesome against teams where we don't need that extra muscle (Diaby) in centre-midfield. Against West Ham? I'm not so sure... We should probably start with Diaby, imo, and maybe move Nasri into CM later on if we're winning/putting a lot of pressure on them.

Why not Arshavin on the left? Or do you mean he'll start and then get taken off?
Yup, the second option. I was thinking that either one of Nasri/Rosicky starts on the right with Arshavin on the left, and later, one of them or Arshavin gets subbed for Walcott. Walcott then plays on the right.

****in' hell, that looks strong doesn't it?

Pretty much our first-choice line-up without RVP.

Of course, dishing out a spanking might be good for the goal difference. But any sort of win with no injuries would be great. We'll consider it job done, and then prepare for the tough game against Birmingham. One game at a time though.

I don't think we're going to destroy West Ham. I think the boys are going to go on scaring us until the season close.

    Arsenal 3-2 West Ham

Diamanti will score for West Ham

    Fabregas for the winner

I actually think it will be quite comfortable. At least 2 or 3 goals clear. We'll have an almost full team out. I think our midfield might be too much for them. Song, Diaby & Cesc together :coma: Also a full choice of wingers so wenger can do as he pleases with them.
