I don't know what career I'll be when I'm older but I would like it to be related to maths. I'm rather interested in being an Accountant as well...

    Compulsory subjects:
    Triple Science
    Mathematics
    English Language
    English Literature
And one Modern Language (I choose Spanish)

    My choices:
    History
    Geography
    IT/Business Studies
French (which I can do after school)

So should I take IT or Business Studies?

Imo, doesn't really matter either way.

Depends if you want IT which has a lot of coursework, or Business Studies which I presume is more exams-orientated.

So, in this situation, do the subject you think you are most likely to get an A*/A in.

Personally I would do Business studies, but that's because I would find IT insanely dull. At GCSE it doesn't matter much what you do, so do whichever you think you will enjoy, as you'll be doing it for the next two years.

Neither, both are a hell of a lot of work and aren't worth a lot in terms of respectibility. But thats just me, if you can play anything take music, thats what i did, as even though the subject itself isn't strong, it shows that you are unique and have a lot of talents etc. or choose any other subject that you like?

But I would take business if you have to choose either one.

Business is so boring. If you're interested, go for Business. Although employers do like to see some form of an IT qualification, to prove that you are competent with IT.

IT is easy to understand, it's just the coursework that can be tedious. If you're doing Applied Business Studies, the coursework is VERY tedious.
