I was just on a friend's profile page, and noticed she had replied to comments from a male friend about something. The exclamation marks and xs caught my eye so I scrolled down to read the messages. If you were a guy at uni, and a girl on your course who you kinda spoke to sometimes messaged you on facebook with
"jake my babs - what are you up to 2morro. I'm so BORED- i just want to revise anatomy- save me u hunky knight love you xxx"
would you think she was flirting, or just being fun and friendly?

Depends. Are they injokey people, is one of them not attracted to the other's sex, was she drunk?

Could be either. Ask, if it matters that much to you.

Depends what she is like usually. There are some naturally flirty people that don't mean anything by it, so she may be one of them?

The line isn't very clear at the best of times online tbh. The amount of times I have flirted like that as a joke outweighs those in anger, so to speak, by magnitudes. When I have meant it, it will usually be a lot more subtle. In person, the difference is usually extremely obvious.
