so do you have you chosen your station on the dj or the music or a bit of both, used to love xfm when stephen marchant and ricky gervais were on there, office politics around radio choice tends to leave it at the choice of least resistance...radio 2

Music, DJ's are a bonus, and alex zane was a massive bonus! As was merchant and gervais, that was awesome. Saying that DJ's can ruin a station for me if they're too annoying, i.e. chris moyles..

XFM - they play Britpop, end of story.

Used to be Radio 1 for about a year, but I despised Chris Moyles from the moment I started listening to it. Only reason I didn't change there and then was due to the fact that I hadn't discovered XFM yet, and was faced with a choice of Classic FM, Radio 4 or the local radio stations. And Moyles being an unfunny douchebag was the lesser of four evils.

Clive Bull isincredibly dry these days, but a few years back in 2004 or so, his shows were the dog's ******** :o:

I used to text in to peter deeley like mad. To the point where I got blacklisted:cool: lol.

Sadly I'm in Canterbury for Uni and LBC is a far cry from the crappy stations here. Then again, good shows on LBC are a rarity these days, but still worth listening to by far

I used to always listen to Capital FM when I was younger, back in the days of Steve Penk, but now (and I know it's lame and geeky) I only really listen to Radio 4. It relaxes me, probably partly because a lot of the time it's very boring.
