Hi there, there is a new HMV that has opened near me recently and when I was there yesturday they were advertising for two part time vacancies, I asked instore how to apply and they said I have to go online. However when I went onto their site (HMV Careers) apparently there are no vacancies avaliable though I think they havn't added their new store to the site because it's literally been open less than a month. So firstly does anyone know where I can print off an application form because it's driving me insane trying to look for one if I can't find one I think I'm just going to create a cover letter and attach my CV and hand it in later on. Do you think that will suffice? Currently I'm working part time at McDonalds and have been for almost a year and a half now and although it can be a laugh I'm looking for something new and HMV would be perfect. I am extremely passionate about music, films, TV and games well media in general (doing a HND in Media and hopefully plan on carrying that one at Uni(also have GCSE and A Level in it)). I was just wondering if anyone can provide me with information on it such as what's it like to work there? What happens at the interview and what type of questions do they ask you? What's their rate of pay? Is there alot of job rotation? etc. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful thanks alot
