See how everybody shrugs and says Zimbabwe is messed up things like that happen there. You make me puke.
Why exactly? If you have someone like Mugabe in charge this kind of stuff happens. Something similar happened in Germany in the '30's I think, not sure though...

I didn't know there were any whites left in Rhodesia.

Britain caused the crisis in Rhodesia by installing Robert Mugabe in a sham election. It's her responsibility to sort it out.

I'm pretty sure when BNP people use the term "indigenous British", they use it to justify why a certain group of people should remain the majority population of the country, not that the indigenous people should be given the benefit of crazy economic discrimination laws like this. Hell, even the UN recognises the rights of indigenous people to remain in their homeland.

Still, I'm sure the liberals will continue to masturbate to the collective "ownage" your strawman argument has unleashed upon those evil BNPers.

If it were in Britain I'd be angry, but as it is in Africa it is really up to them.
    From the horse's mouth.

    In fact I'm for it
Can you believe your're reading this?

because white people go there, take their stuff then leave
Zimbabwe was a functioning state able to feed itself thanks to white farmers before they started ethnically cleansing it of white people. Now thanks to their brilliant black political ability a loaf of bread in Zimbabwe costs $10 million, inflation is at 236 million percent, after they thought that since they had a mint why not just print all the money they need.

Alright, even if you think it should still be called Rhodesia, IT'S NOT ******* RHODESIA FOR ****'S SAKE. Fine, keep hanging on to your frankly weird obsession but referring to it as Rhodesia in current-affairs and, you know, real-world discussions is frankly just fanatical.

Anyway, considering how long Mugabe has spent roundly ******* over most of the people left in Zimbabwe I'm surprised there's anyone still there with an operable firm to speak of.

Innocent Zimbabweans should suffer for the actions of their tyrannical government?
Yes. Whats the point in feeding one starving child now, when in 15 years he'll reproduce on average 4 children... Who will then be classified as starving too. It's not very well thoiught out this whole save the children thing, is it?

Oh, must have been black people who started all these episodes of hyperinflation in European history then.

You won't hear about this from the corporate news, ask why.

Aren't Mugabe's policies towards whites very similar to Nick Griffin's policies towards blacks?

(I'm ignoring the fact that white people are in Zimbabwe for an entirely different reason  )

this just proves you are racist, as you should approve of this if you are merely 'proud to be white'...

Zim is more technically in a mess because of the legacy of colonialism. If we had never gone in and "civilised" the place, then Zimbabwe would be a proud independent, ethnically homogeneous nation - you know, the type you like.

Zimbabwe, like all colonies, has had to really struggle to adapt it's economy from a colonial one supplying a single central power a few thousand miles away, to an independent one that provides a range of goods and services for the people who live there. Zimbabwe was the breadbasket of Africa because the British needed a reliable source of Western foods to support their administration and culture across British Africa. It's economy was entirely geared for exporting crops and cattle, and very little else.

Give Zimbabwe time to find it's feet. I don't like Mugabe for some policy areas, and I completely disapprove of the violence he's instigated, but to some extent he is right to bash us for screwing up his country in the first place.
