# Maths watch

1. This is a simple maths problem that my cousin asked me about but i wanted to make sure i got it right.

S = ut + 1/2at^2..... rearrange to find t

s/t^3 = u + 1/2a

t = (s/(u+1/2a))^1/3????

OMG, it's 1/2(at^2).... totally went past me, that is an LOL moment..... thanks for that mate!!!

5. Yeah, you use the quadratic formula, i lol'd when i thought i could divide a fraction by a variable and thought i could cancel that.... thanks for your help in making me realize my silly mistake!!!
