I'm currently studying AS Politics, History, Economics and German.

German is rubbish and I'm dropping it at the end of AS - but I really want to do the others, especially History and Politics - which I want to study at Uni.

My only downfall is my essays. They're not rubbish, but they're not great.

Economics I got an A on my only essay we've got back so far

    Politics I've gotten 2 C's on 2 fourty markers, close to a B

    In History, 3 D's 1 B and 1 A.

As you can all see, I lack consistency and i can not rely on hope to pass AS

At A2 I need AAB - - Im fine with the knowledge, I'm more than fine with that, but give me an essay and it's a 50-50 shot

A2 you don't need AAB, that is for 2010, and the 2011 haven't been set yet for Uni's, although would be similar.

Although a tip which I find works,

    Introduction 1/2 page
paragraphs 1/2 page each, maybe more depending, but not so long you fall asleep.
    Conclusion, 1/2 page

    only two

    1. ask the teachers who are marking your essays what is wrong with them and what you need to do to improve them.

    2. take a look at past exam papers and learn how to interpret the mark schemes so that you start to understand what examiners are looking for.
