takeaway curry that has been in the freezer from about 5-6 weeks ago?

The tub was never opened, it was bought, left to go cold, and frozen straight away.

    any thoughts?

yeah I'd eat it. The thing about eating frozen meat within a month is total rubbish.

Heat it up and if it smells okay and tastes okay, it's probably fine.

Heat it up, check what it looks like, pull at a bit of the meat to see how the fibres hold together. Any discoloured/hard/smelly meat or with an unusual texture, bin the whole thing.

Well if it's frozen, then no germs can have grown on it, right? So, it'll be perfectly fine.

thanks everyone, I've asked about this elsewhere too but I'm getting mixed responses lol. I might heat it up and see how it fares.

At home we have frozen food from years ago, literally, and I'd happily eat it.

Yes. I'm pretty sure I have and I know I have eaten other things that had been frozen after longer.
