It's pretty impossible for it to be real, anyway, so it's a bit hard to fall for. The functionality of a kidney would be too difficult to reproduce in anything man made and things such as the kidney have cells far too complex to reproduce in current technology. Also, the fact it says "free adrenal gland" with the kidney makes me realise it's just a joke.

Looks like a good film. It reminds me a bit of 'The Island'.

It's not unfeasible. We can already make artificial pancreases, in 20 years I'm sure people will start to seriously investigate synthetically making more complex organs such as the liver and the kidney.

I'm just as confused LOL. It's seems too whacky to be for real...

EDIT: I think it's something to do with a movie:

I love how you edited your post to make it seem as if you knew it was a movie first. :p:

I changed it, I said with "current technology" because I realised there is a possibility in the future, just not right now.

Looked up the word artiforg, knew it sounded very familiar. Is from a Philip K **** novel. They've got some hefty sci-fi referencing going on there.

    Also, it's a viral thing: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Artif...ive-16851.html

Cybernetics is nowhere near that good yet. It will be, but it's not. The fact that Jude Law is a repo man on that site kind of gives it away. Actually, this leads me to believe that the film of Ubik - the book it's taken from - is in production.

Edit: post above me nails it.
