# Vector field watch

1. If I'm given to draw vector fields F(x,y,z)= x ax and
F(x,y,z)= y ax then would i get the same plot for both ???

What does ax mean?
3. ax is the unit vector in the direction of x-axis.
4. you have a 3d plot. and it's not going to be the same for both. the second will be the first after a rotation of 90degrees about the z axis.

can you draw it for the 2d case?
5. for x ax .. wouldn't the plot consist of parallel lines to the x-axis ??
6. oui.
and for the other one?
7. well thats the issue.. i can only imagine it to be the same for other one
