Dropping out

I am dropping out of uni in my first year as the course is really not for me :frown: I did look into doing another course here but i think i just need some time to decide what i really want to do.

Anyway thats irrelevant really!

Do you know what happens about paying back loans and grants at this stage? Most of my loan went on accommodation and i dont have all that much money left to pay back anything! I could pay back some if i had to but i definatly dont have enough to pay it all back!

Would i be able to pay it in installments :confused:

Im so stressed! Has this happened to anyone else?

you dont have to pay anything back until you earn over £15,000 a year
You have to immediately pay back any proportion of the grant given for time you didn't attend. You won't get further finance until you've paid back what you owe.

What if you go onto another course at a different university after dropping out?
