This really should be in the dentistry section, but in short....yes your grades are good enough.
I really don't see the need to retake physics.

I think they'll poutmore focus on your predicted grades than GCSEs anyway so you should be fine, I', applying this year and I've heard a couple of places ask for a certain number of A*'s like birmingham i think its 6, i could eb wrong though, but the other places ive applied to didnt mention GCSEs and yours are really good so go for it!

Would i be able to be competitive if i was to apply in dentistry?

    English language-B
    English literature-B
    citizenship-A*

    technology-C

AS levels (prediction as in year 12)
    Maths- A
    Biology-A

Your GCSE results are more than fine for Dentistry in any University that doesn't require A in English Language (Only a few require this now-a-days). Also, quite obviously, your AS level predictions are as high as they can be so fine. I don't really know why you're asking about whether you can have a fighting chance of getting in to Dentistry as it is pretty blatent that your grades are fine. Although, you will need to do about 2 weeks work experience in a dental surgery to stand a chance. Hobbies that involve manual dexterity also increase your chances. Good Luck.
