noses are really proun to the sun, you need one of those sun block sticks. The thing sport men and women wear, you can get them in skin colour. It wont remove the damage, but will work better than sun cream.

My eye lids are the same, and sadly it doesnt go away but hey i got perminent brown eye shadow now. :/

ive had it for years, kinda used to it. Im not sure if its fading at all, it could be but if it is its taken ages.

Are you sure its a sun stain.

My mum had an allergy where she went bright red on her neck and blistered all over her thumb it was gross it only came up in the sun but it wasn't the sun it was because she'd touched some wild weed thing and it was an allergic reaction but was made loads worse by exposure to the sun. You haven't touched anything like that and then touched your nose have you?
Hers still comes up a bit when its really hot but she used arnica on it and it seems to have got rid of the worst of it.

Sounds like chlosama, pigmentation of the skin. I get it quite a lot too. I think being on the pill makes it worse, and you can't get rid of it unfortunately. Having said that, ive never had it on my nose, just on my arms.

you can get rid of it, ive got this cream called fade out extra care, its from boots, its fades out freckles, uneven skin tone, sun spots and brown pigmentation martks on the skin. i used it to fade a scar too, it takes a few weeks but it works, and its only about 6 squid. good luck.

Hi

Ok basically I havnt been wearing much sun cream recently and now have this stain (dark brown) on my nose (2mm diametre) and altho its not huge, its really annoying me. My mum says its because of the sun

What can I do :frown: ? (apart from applying sun cream)

I have this problem too, apparantly certain medication can cause a reaction in the sun and cause dark patches on the skin, Im on the pill and thats what caused it for me. I dont think theres much you can do really, just make sure you used suncream whilst in the sun.

i went on holiday about 3 years ago, and wore a bikini nearly all the time and i got a tan, and i never really tan very well, anyway, my tan lasted for about 2 years, it got fainter and fainter, but i had tan lines for so long, if i look now i can see it just about but no one else would notice it, do you think this was becuase of the sun and being on the pill?

It could be a fungus. My sister got it, and even though she'd just come back from the south of France, she had white patches all over her. Go to your doctors to get it checked out, just in case.

It's because some parts of your body get more used to the sun. Even though I go on the sunbeds and never have my stomach out now, because of wearing bikinis, my stomach is more tanned than my chest (which was obviously covered up).

Think of freckles and moles - caused by the sun, but they don't ever go away.
