The chap Keiran is in the National Front not the BNP. The National Front is where those people go to who think the BNP is too moderate. Maybe when he grows up a bit he might be less radical.

This is one of the rare rational things you have said from the history of your posts.

at least you arent a militant racist.

Protectionism is not socialist.

i said that was ****** up, not necessarily socialist. my original comment to which you responded was that the bnp economic policy was ****** up.
the rest... i dont care what it is technically called, it is left wing. left wing = grim. you may not think government intervention in employment is bad. i do. i am also against nationalisation. you can sit there all day and say "that is not xism, its yism" till the cows come home, its still a bunch of dirty left wing policies

He failed at egg-frying. His views on "racemixing" are vile. I wanna get off with a black guy in front of him just to piss him off.
The thing about "racemixing" was just vile.

We moved beyond that, son, get over it!

I can understand his PoV, but I have precisely no sympathy with it.

You seem to hate anything which has anything to do with sharing wealth. You know that socialism has always existed - long before Marx?
Socialism, to an extent, is required for a society to function properly; and is not, as you seem to think, a system where there are no rich or poor people. Not every form of socialism is the same as the Marxist-globalist-capitalist system we have operating today where we are basically all slaves to the bankers and all guided by a lust for money.

By outsourcing jobs to India or wherever, when British people are in desperate need of work is ridiculous - especially as it is all for a few mere pounds. Same as bringing in workers to a country where there is huge unemployment amongst the native population. Giving jobs to British people and buying British-made products is not 'Marxism' but simply being fair to the hard-working man. Is it wrong to want everyone employed, and working towards a greater society?

If a Jewish man was to say: "I wish to some day have a Jewish wife, with Jewish children.", you wouldn't even lift an eyebrow. You wouldn't mind if a Native American man said the same thing. However, if an English man says: "I want to have an English wife, with English children.", you call it 'vile'. May I ask why?

I probably wouldn't bat an eyelid to the Jewish statement: Judaism is a lifestyle choice, and as long as it's made on the basis of religious belief rather than race I think it's fine. It's like me saying that I'd never want to settle down with a nationalist... :p:

The others I do have issue with, as they're entirely on race. While I'd never stop someone making those choices, I will condemn them as short sighted and racist. What I found offensive in this documentary was that the lad felt that people dating outside their race was "betray[al]", which I think is disgusting. He said he wouldn't be with his girlfriend if she had one drop of Chinese in her, which he highly suspected and looked into. It's really quite disgusting. His views aren't made on any religious basis by the way, simply that of race. People can't choose what race they are, but they can choose their religion/political views.

My point about the Native Americans is that some of them feel that intermarriage with European settlers has almost destroyed their cultural identity - which is the creation of that unique ethnic group. If you remove the ethnic group then you remove that identity. Removal of any ethnic group - whatever colour, is a very sad thought. While we may not be at the same point as the Native Americans here in Britain, if intermarriage continues we will eventually be in the exact same position. I do understand you questioning his issue with racial purity though (regarding his girlfriend).

My point about the Jews is that they are misunderstood to a point in the general population. The whole point of Israel (which I'm sure you support), is to protect the cultural identity of the Jewish people as a seperate and unique ethnic group. Judaism is not a lifestyle choice, it's not a missionary religion always on the look for new converts like Christianity and Islam; it's a religion for the Jewish people. I think you'll find that the majority of Israel's population is secular.

no. it is perfectly natural to think that, and is good. its good to know people care about people.
but by attempting to achieve this end via government intervention in employment etc, we lose an awful lot of freedoms, worth far more than a job or two as this affects the long run for everyone, not just a short term lack of a job for an individual. consider that peoples freedoms may be more important to them than their jobs, and furthermore that a lot of the worlds greatest evils have been committed by the most well meaning of individuals.

i agree that we shouldnt be accepting any more immigration with the job deficit we currently have. i also agree that it would be better for british businesses to keep their employment here, but the answer to that is less regulation, not more. if we abolished the minimum wage we would be able to furnish these businesses with workers at a competitive level. it must also be considered that british businesses making more money by saving money on employment means a bigger profit for the company, which ultimately leads to more money in our economy. however you look at it, IMHO telling businesses where they may or may not operate is a step too far into totalitarianism, as is government intervention in employment.

He seemed a thrilling character to be around, just stood there ranting politics and ethics at his friends and their jokes while they were drinking :curious:
I know its stupid and saying this for all the backlash that ill receive, but i understand exactly how he feels, though his views are completely more extreme. I feel that everyone is fighting for equal rights (gays and other ethnic minorities, religion) however I feel its going too far the other way and now if you are white and straight you seem to be a minority and are labeled everything under the sun too soon. People are too fast with labeling people racists and homophobic and this, I believe, is what is making people rebel and what goes from discomfort/tiny problem will become even worse and make people go more extreme. I have experienced it my self but I don't mind gays and I don't mind other ethnics. But if we cant do it, nor can they. Any British person of any race cant go to Dubai and go against their rules with out consequences, and this is where Britain has lost its way with becoming too slack and too open minded. I want people to live in harmony however people were put on different areas of earth for a reason and look different for a reason too, if it was meant to be then we would of been put on all mixed in different areas, its our countries we need to sort not our people and governments.
