Going to Liverpool for a girlie holiday and just wondering where is good to go and what to expect from the nightlife there. Thanks

Wood Street and Slater Street have some great bars and clubs, as well as Concert Square which is just off Wood Street. Django's Riff is a cool bar with great music (often a live band or DJ set), Walkabout and Baa Bar are good clubs, Krazy House usually has metal on the first floor (K1), indie/80s (K2) or dance (K3).
Bumper (on Hardman Street) is quite cool, as is Revolution 4, and Magnet (opposite) is a good bar to get last minute drinks.
Mathew Street has most of the Beatles bars/pubs, there's some good retro clubs down there too (80s/90s clubs). Just round the corner is Victoria Street and Dale Street, which is essentially Liverpool's gay quarter (Pink, Superstar Boudoir).

Only problem with Mathew Street is you tend to get more scallies there than other places. Should mention though... I always go out on Thursday night - it's usually the best night to go into town.
It's one of the safest cities to go out in now

Thank you so much for all that info I heard concert square was quite good for places to go. No doubt it'll be a pub crawl so we can experience many places as possible. Looking forward to it!
