Did you read the question? haha cheers but im not massively into politics or economics :s

Durham does, possibly York? I'm not sure about the latter though.

You have flexible combined honours at Exeter, so you could apply for it there.
Just go here and search 'philosophy and english', it brings up all of them in the country.

There's probably a lot of uni's that are just really good for one or the other. I'd look into Southampton and Cardiff though.

Warwick do - well Philosophy and Literature at least.

Erm, I' m afraid that PPP is not offered anymore from 2010/2011 onwards:frown:
I've never understood why Oxford don't do Philosophy and English joint. Can anyone give me a possible reason for this?

Do you know why?! That would have been an epic course to get on to.

You can do them both under combined arts at Durham.

Their official page says that only Psychology and Philosophy course will be offered, as in the current PPP course you choose 2 disciplines for your study. The Physiology part will be complemented into brand new course, Biomedical Sciences.
I learnt that info just because I wanted to study PPP as well and now I have no chance (unless I started taking Chemistry seriously, hahaha).
I applied for English and Philosophy at Bristol, Warwick, York and Nottingham - so all of those do. Warwick's course is different in that it's not a typical joint honours; it's actually a tailored course which combines the two subjects - you're not just studying half of each degree. I got offers from all four, and I'm now studying it at Bristol. If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me.
The people I know doing Philosophy and English at York seem to be really enjoying it. It's slightly odd, though, in that you end up alternating between them, doing English one term, Philosophy the next etc.
