What A-levels did you take? And what's the university life like at Bristol?

    Dear Kater,

I am a student from Denmark who is struggling in the decision between Warwick and Bristol for the joint honours (Phil/lit and Eng/Phil respectively). I am attracted to them both, but from my impressions the degree in Warwick seems more focused on continental philosophy rather than analytical. May I ask what led you to go with Bristol rather than Warwick?

I applied for English and Philosophy at Bristol, Warwick, York and Nottingham - so all of those do. Warwick's course is different in that it's not a typical joint honours; it's actually a tailored course which combines the two subjects - you're not just studying half of each degree. I got offers from all four, and I'm now studying it at Bristol. If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me.
