frankly I'm not suprised we lost our top spot this year, our results seemed suprisingly average in comparison to most other colleges.....some people are gonna be quite upset in emma methinks!

5th is quite clearly above average. There's fluctuation every year so I'm sure your academics won't mind, and if students mind then they're just being silly - your own result is the only one which matters.

yes I was referring to academics rather than students! Although I know of plenty of students who are probably disappointed with their individual class mark from emma!

And ok, 5th is indeed higher than average, but probably that's got something to do with the results in the years above mine....I was referring to my years results, we had done well in some subjects, but others were quite a shock: e.g. not a single first in medicine!

I'm fairly sure that the table only considers finalists' results.

Not really. Sod all you can do about it till your year. You could get the highest first in the year and it won't budge Tit Hall up a single place.

It was in my copy of the Independent by 8.30am, so it's out there for all to see, although the Indie is a bit protective about its online edition.

I have a copy of the Independent in front of me, so I copied it. If I knew it was in today I'd have done it for you before I went to London.

Second and third places are very close (0.04%), which is disappointing for Trin as they also got a greater percent of firsts.

Possibly related to the fact that the majority of Neighbours watchers/people in the bar this year were third years.

Catz rules! though I don't think we are the 2nd oldest college - where did that come from! Apparently just over 30% of catz students got 1sts, well thats what the email said...
