It's not august is it?

by the way if you're on edexcel for something you can get the results early...i think.
Nope, you'll just have to wait until the 25th. Teachers get them day early, but I doubt they'd tell you.

Are you sure the teachers get them a day early, because on the letter we got telling us about GCSE results, it said that we were not to come earlier than 9.30 because that's the time they get the results?

nah they get the day earlier and they put them into nice envelopes for you lol
My teachers don't get them a day early..they have to collect them from the Post Office at 7.30am on the actual day, and have to do all the putting of them into the envelopes before everyone starts arriving at 9.

I really cant wait, im nervous and excited lol, however in 8 days ill be going on holiday and when i get back home they will be waiting for me so the time should go reasonably fast!

No there isn't anyway of knowing until August 25th - sadly. (Not unless you have the chief examiner's phone number, of course)

9! That's so early- at my school, we don't even get our A-level results until 10, and the GCSE results are 11!

If you work at Edexel then you can access the results from the computer system as soon as the examiners put them on (I guess this is the same for the other exam boards too), so find people who work for your exam boards and they can access them for you , I friend of mine offered to do it for me but I couldn't stand the thought of knowing 6 results and not the other 4, plus, if they find out he gets fired.

At the end of the day we're all in the same boat, so you've just got to wait like the rest of us!

Letters are usually posted by postmen??? Why collect??
Because if you have a post man like mine it will never turn up:smile:

EXACTLY!! i worry for you people gettin them house delivered, i'd be to scared they go missing, or get caught up in one of those 'post bag fires' that happen now and again, or end up in the wrong place and their like never found.

not to worry you all or anything lol
lol@the bag fires.......it would be just typical for all the so-called ''impossible'' things to happen!
