So I know what I paid, but the insurance company said they would look into its value more as I got a pretty good deal on it, and then call them back and they will sort the insurance out etc. I'm not sure why its value is overly important as they have all its details, but they want a number.

Its a 1.2 petrol, 56 (late november 2006) Seat Ibiza Chill, 3 door, black, 29,000 miles on the clock. Nothing wrong with it, all the interior is supaguarded and it has almost new tyres on it.

    Anyone got any thoughts??

    £4000 - £5000

According to Wisebuyers which is generally on the money.

There's only 3 for sale on Autotrader with the same spec and year, one for £4500, one for £5000 (these both have slightly higher miles than your car), there is one with 25,000 miles for £5300.

So i'd say tell them £5000 ish

You won't get the market price from them.

Webuyanycar buy any car at dirt cheap prices and then sell them on. They're a business, they're in it to make money.

If you got it for less than £4500 then you got a very good deal they usually cost around £5000.

Yeah you are both probably right, but I tried it and the price I have to admit did seem reasonable, although I did get the car cheap in the first place.

Search for it on Autotrader and go from there. Its the only way you'll get a proper idea of what others are selling at.
