Anyone had this done before? It would be something like this http://www.tattoomuch.com/pictures/b...tattoo-030.jpg
but about 3 inches long at the very most and curved, possibly with some small text around it.
The only thing i'm worried about is possibly having to cover it up when I get a job so the other option is on the back of my shoulder. And it would be my first tattoo so does anyone know the most painful areas to get tattooed?

Seems quite tacky to get it done there to be fair.

I wouldn't get anything lower down the arm than the elbow, just in case. Or above the neck, obviously.

It's entirely up to you, though, obviously. I have 5 tattoos but they are all in easily covered up places, because you never know when you'll need to hide them in the future!

Plus, since it's your first tattoo, perhaps it'd be best going for something a little less obvious, such as your shoulder as you mentioned, because if you decide you don't like it someday you won't have to look at it on a daily basis!

On a more positive note, I like the idea of the peacock feather! very pretty & feminine

The idea of the feather is good...but just not anywhere on the arm IMHO

I love it where she has it, I personally wouldn't get an obvious tattoo like that on my forearms for a few reasons
    -work
    -lots of sun exposure
-I think it will look tacky as you get older.

    Be careful..

Im not sure of your future career plans but Front-Line Hospital staff for hygiene reasons cannot cover there forearms (while on wards working etc). So look at scenarios for your career.

True, but I know several nurses, doctors and paramedics all with forearm tattoos that they are forced to display because of the Naked Below the Elbow thing, and they claim it didn't hurt their careers :p:
