Err....well are you planning on doing it again? It's a really stupid thing to take up, especially if you're not actually addicted to it. get out before you do get addicted. it's a waste of money and lungs.

That isn't actually the case. Once i tried it, i liked it (for those niccy buzzes you get at the start  ) and kept doing it. After about the third week thats when i couldn't stop. But don't start it. Its horrible! It took me being grounded for 2 months to finally quit. :frown:

It's pretty unlikely that you will really start craving them, but the more times you 'have a try', then you will get addicted. Just don't do it again - spend your money on something better! Believe me, I'm a smoker and I wish I wasn't, it isn't easy to stop. I don't think they will have really affected your health.

Loss of appetite? I've never noticed that lol. I love food mmm.

Don't make me go all out on how cigarettes are bad for you ( 50% of smokers die in lungcancer as an example ) but do try to do a bit of research before you start smoking because quite honestly its not worth the risk to get addicted to it even if you think you are doing fine.

Take it from someone who used to smoke and had to give up, twice... it's not big or clever, it makes you smell, it costs loads of money, oh and it'll kill ya

I am only talking from personal experience, but when I started smoking I didn't crave cigarettes after the first time I smoked. If you haven't wanted another so far, I think you'll be ok.

Please don't start smoking. I have been a smoker for a long time now, and really regret starting.
I tried cigs when i was about 12-13... now 21, i couldnt really care for them. They dont make you look cool, they are a waste of cash and just destroy your health. Despite having them a few times on boozy nights out, ive never felt an addiction to them.

I dont like people that smoke that much either, because my clothes stink if im around them (and i bloody it when my clothes smell of smoke)

I generally dislike smoking, especially in public places. I have the odd cigarette at parties/when I'm out and about, but rarely. It makes your breath and hands stink and is just unattractive.

I think it's 5 cigarettes (on different occasions) and then you're very likely to be addicted. As it was just on one occasion, you would have had one buzz and your body can't get addicted to the nicotine in such a short amount of time!!

Of course you'd notice some effects- I noticed just lungs feeling a bit funny, same with voice. You still coated your lungs in tar, but they can clear it away after a while.

I'd suggest you only smoke very occasionally, and 9 on one night is way overboard.
first time? when I was 11 in year 6, smoked for about 8 months and quit (came to my senses). Personally I didn't find it addictive. It smells like crap, takes about 10 fags to get a head rush, its just not worth it.
Don't be a wuss, and start with the hard stuff.

None smoking girls dont like the smell of fag smoke in peoples clothes, has to be a good reason for not smoking doesnt it lads?

I think you should stop smoking now before your body start relying on the nicotine, which it will do if you carry on smoking!

Well, if money is a problem, you can import them very cheaply from France- £10 for 10 packets
i haven't actually tried a ciggy, never will do will either. It smells horrible and i just want to get out of the way when someone lights up.

Can't stand it to be honest, i really don't know why others find it so attractive, i find it anything but.
If they offered one you should of said no thats what I did when my m8's offered me one I am never planning on taking up smoking but stop while you can surely you know the consequences such as lung cancer

Hash is better than cigarettes btw. It isn't as bad as you may think.

But the side effects are worse than you think. Seriouly, most peopel have not even tried to read up on it but will just tell you things they heard from a friend of a friend. The fact that the government is completely crap at informting people about it does not make it much better.
