    searched nothing really answered.

ive just bought a bunch of tulips for my girlfriend for valentines day, she is coming down to southampton (long dist. relationship) tomorrow.
i am planning to keep them in my room, and then take them to the station and meet her with them
was just wondering what to do with them between now and then??
how to care for them without wilting and things.

not sure whether to put cut the bottoms and put them in water now, or just leave them how i bought them... (they werent in water in the shop)

any help would be appreciated, thanks

In water with a touch of sugar, cut the bottom of the stem vertically up the centre of the stems for about 12 cms.
    Cute
