I´ve just recieved conditional offer for Human Genetics at Nottingham
(:woo: ) therefore I made research about financial support which could I possibly get. However, I am still not getting it. Could please someone explain me WHEN should I apply for WHICH grants/loans and how could regular eastern-european boy pay for tuition, accomodation etc. without letting his family in debt? I would really appreciate some help. Many thanks!

Read into this in the first instance: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Educatio...es/DG_10035218

The university you apply to might also be able to offer you financial help in the form of bursaries - look on their websites to see if such help is available.

You can get a loan for tuition fees and nothing else.
