Inquiring for a fat friend who is depressed to hell, and i think a good place for him to start would be for him to shift some weight and build some self confidence. He's a big guy, (tall and broad) so was wondering if there is any weight based cardio routine which has been tried and tested(Reputation similar to starting strength). I think a weights dominated routine will help him to feel like he's achieving something, as he could measure success in both weight loss and strength gain.
