Normally I wouldn't leave the house without some makeup even just a bit of concealer cos I don't have perfect skin, but if I'm going for a run either by myself or with my club I go au naturel. There's no point, it's just going to get washed off with sweat, then clog my pores up. In fact if I wore makeup to my running club they wouldn't take me seriously as a runner. Its actually making me feel more confident about wearing less makeup

I wear makeup to the gym for the same reason I wear it shopping, or to work, or the pub - because it makes me look a million times better. Are you saying girls SHOULDN'T wear makeup to the gym? What possible purpose would that serve? And what harm is it actually doing?

I don't have great skin and some foundation and mascara makes me feel much more confident and attractive, and why shouldn't I feel that way all of the time?

This is why I workout in the gym I do. I don't want to be distracted by silly girls or lads treating the place like the pub and taking up space ,when Iam there to workout .

It's not just this but anyone using a gym who treats it as if it's a place to socialise rather than exercise that gets me. On the rare occasions (uni holidays) I'm in a 'health centre' style crap gym, I can only hope that the girls who get dressed up can distract the bench 'n' curlers while I squat in their curl rack.

Coz they want to.... better than look trampy or disgusting.
Perhaps, but tbh if girls are nice looking naturally, then there is no need to turn up looking "trampy and disgusting", even if they aren't made up.

To be honest, it's probably the ones who go to the gym to pull "fit lads lyk lolz!!1".

Personally, I neither know nor care. I know that comment wasn't directed at me, but I've had enough of women lashing on the make-up in order to cover up something that isn't there in the first place.

The government put all these make-up ads on tv with models doing it, and somehow people get it into their minds that "If I wear this, I'll look like that!"
No you won't. You'll end up having splashed a load of money on something you don't need.

**** me, us guys don't wear make-up (aside from some of the poofs). Someone I know doesn't wear foundation. Never has, never will. She doesn't have perfect skin, she just doesn't see the point in spending money on something that you spend ages rubbing on in the morning, only to rub it off later.

Make-up realy is a waste of money, in my eyes. Then again, I'm not a vain woman, so I wouldn't really know.
Agreed, that was a sound comment man!
