I dont judge a book by it's cover, I'm not as shallow as you are.

Shallowness is the reality, so get used to it.

    To some degree, yes.

Not in terms of fashion, but more in terms of how neatly they are dressed, and their countenance. If a person wears non-fashionable clothes, I don't care. But if they were shabby/scruffy/n-word clothes, then yes I would judge them.

    Wtf are 'n-word' clothes? :nothing:

If shallowness is the reality, which I doubt it is, then I'd rather live in a bubble.

When I walk down the street I don't see people eyeing me up and down looking at what I wear, so I don't think there's a shred of reality in what you say.

You're naive, and most definitely a student. If you're a working person, then you better open your eyes.

    Strong logic ITT.

There are MANY people on here who aren't students. I'm technically not a student at the moment.

I love it when troll threads spawn meaningful discussion XD.

Tbh, I do. Especially at work. I'd never let it show on my face though...

to be honest, if they're gonna judge me solely on what kind of suit I wear to the interview instead of what qualifications I have, i'd rather not have a job.

It's not really what you wear IMO, it's how you present yourself. Your swag determines you, even if you don't speak a word.

Agree with a few of these comments saying I judge on style. I don't care if you're wearing Jack Wills or Primark - I wouldn't even be able to tell the difference unless it had the name emblazoned across it. I automatically associate a person to a stereotype if they are dressed stereotypically (goth, chav, emo, etc) but I don't judge them because of it. If that makes any sense haha :p:

I'm not shallow, I just like to put some effort into my presentation towards other people.

In other words, you're shallow. :sadnod:

how pathetic. I'd rather gain a job through merit than according to what I look like.
