Court visits

This seems like something I should know, but I don't!
I know you can visit a court if you want, but when, where, how? Do you just turn up at any time and say you'd like to go in? How do you go about doing it???
Just don't want to go all the way to a court to be told I can't or its inappropriate or something, you know.

I go to Court every week - I volunteer!!

Basically you can just go anytime you want (so long as the case isn't restricted - sometimes they are due to the type of case and etc). They do a security check and you are free to go into the public gallery.

EDIT: This website tells you of the cases occurring in the court you are attending.
