Ok so my interviews coming up for a position with the towns council.

Ive had several other interviews since leaving college but have failed every one, I have no work experience which knocks my confidence alot since most questions ive been asked in other interviews have been about previous experiences in jobs (customer service etc) and i never knew how to answer. I'm very shy meeting new people and end up messing the whole interview up as a result.

Anyone got tips for calming nerves or had an interview for a similar role so I know what to expect? Or any tips on what kind of questions I should ask at the end?

    Thanks

If you don't have any questions to ask at the end then don't try and think of one just for the sake of it.

These questions will probably also ask for previous experience, but you dont have to give an answer for a job. If they ask about teamwork for example, you could give an example about sport or a group presentation at school. Try and think in advance of what examples you could use to show what different skills you have - it doesnt matter where the examples come from!

    Good luck
