Thought it was a good paper.
Couldn't do the ranges question and the why wasn't it inverse (many to one apparently).
Question 7 was a ***** but I think I powered through.
...Marrrrkkkkscccchhhhheeeemmmmm e.
EDIT: YAY!
I hated the range Q as well but in Q7 can u loose marks for not converting it into appropriate hours ???

it was 67/75 for an A though and only takes a minor slip to lose a few marks then thats u ballsed up! i got 71/75 raw i think
6. (Original post by Smeh)

I thought I did but like in january I've made stupid, stupid, stupid mistakes.
FML.
i know how you feel
7. looking at that mark scheme the amount of stupid stupid mistakes i did was unreal.
im so so annoyed at myself, because it was a relatively nice paper(so i reckon they'll raise grade bounderies), i just was an idiot!
really needed to ace this so c4 wouldnt be as tough :'(
8. im the biggest idiot forgetting there was domain restriction on the range of g question...
i should shoot myself now.

Remember you can all view solutions online:

9. For question 7 I only got 1 time answer how many marks will I lose?
10. Guys for 6C the answer is (x-3)^2 - 4 but I put it in wrong form and said it was f(x-3) -4, would that give a mark 'cause I did realise the transformation of it but just didn't read it properly to put it in x^2 form?
11. @Arsey
So I differentiated correctly, separated the e term and removed it from the equation and got the correct x values for 5d but forgot to put those x values back in the formula to get the y values.

How many marks will I get for that bit d'you reckon?
12. I think I got 68/69. 5 marks thrown away due to stupid mistakes like making tan theta = 1 instead of 1/2. Will this be enough for 90 UMS?, as i need an A*. I'm so worried about C4 now.
13. Hope the grade boundries are realllly low

That part of the question carries only 3 marks, I too made the same mistake,we might get some marks since we had misread the question and that too many of us.
15. Cheers for the solutions man really appreciated.

Anyone got any ideas at all about what the raw mark will be for an A and 90 UMS?
16. (Original post by Arsey)
yes, unless the A boundary is above 67 which is incredibly unlikely
Hope the grade boundries will be low I need a high mark in C3.
17. I believe it was a ridiculously easy paper.
There were some tricks,however.
Question 1 the "2".
Question 7,where students should include all decimal places in their calculations and convert it to hours and minutes.
Let's hope there wont be a downgrade.I dont think there will be one, though, since most people messed up.
18. Grr my calculator giving decieving me on question 7!!!. I typed 4Pi into the calculator and i forgot to put brackets around it .!!!

So i think i got all right apart from that question.. hopefully grade boundaries are nice
19. So many stupid mistakes..
So flipin upsetting.
20. for the three mark range question i got 0=<y<=6

how much marks did i lose? :s
