I'm feeling a bit more confident now; just done the June 2007 paper and got 53/75, but really it was more like 53/65 as we haven't been taught the differentiation section yet and that question was worth 10 marks!

Still don't get the whole domain and range thing though even though it's maybe one of the simplest concepts in the entire book (according to my friend anyway!)

I ll try that tomorrow and see!!
    thanks
I definitely agree with the person who said to do examples from the book on trig - I was REALLY struggling but I spent 3 or 4 hours doing questions from the book and then when I tried a past paper I found the question really easy.

Also, my teacher said that there's really only a limited number of "show that this equals this" type questions they can give you, and they normally start the trig with a question in that form, so if you do all the ones out the book before you sit the exam, chances are you'll have seen the exam question somewhere before

Did a C3 paper today and I know more than I thought! Although I did use the mark scheme as a guidance, so I can wait for my teacher to go through it and then decide on what I need to revise. Its mainly trig and transformations though tbh.

I am fed up with C3!!!!!!!
With all due respect Im sure many are with your constant 'updates'
I have tried to gain some basic info about the exam and just found it littered with loads of seemingly pointless twitter like updates.

My suggestion would be to go back away from the exam papers and learn the methods if you are hitting 50-60% rather than the exam style questions

Hey guys, what's the likelihood of getting a question like question 1 in this paper. I'm really rubbish at them.

Been doing papers to practise for this. Got 66, then 68, 69, 71, 73. So, with an extra 5 papers to do, I can extrapolate that to 80 marks out of 75 when I do my final past paper, right? ;D

Considering how ridiculously hard the January paper this year was, what're people's expectations with regard to the difficulty of this paper?
