To get a girl/boy's phone number?

This stems from a thread the other day about giving numbers on the train etc and also, while I was sitting at the traffic lights today, I could see a good looking girl infront in her mirror, and thought to myself "If i gently bumped my car into hers, we could get chatting........."!

I would never have the guts, but it made me think of how far I would go to get a number/date.

What are your experiences?

Well never that far. I remember this featured on an episode of Casualty though!

I, as a dedicated Casualty/Guppy obsessive, remember that episode well. The girl ended up thinking the guy who crashed into her was a wally and ended up leaving him.
