Just practise questions! I hate this topic, its really hard to understand.

I reckon Thermal Physics and Nuclear Decay is alright, Astrophysics and SHM is tough.
I agree. I wonder what type of questions the Edexcel will be asking this time..

If its as hard as the Unit 4 paper was in January then i'm screwed!

I hope the make it easier! Both units actually. I want a good grade in Physics! :o:

Anyone got the January 2010 paper for this unit?

If so, please send it to me. The mark scheme along with that would be great as well.

    Thanks

I may be wrong but my teacher told me they decided not to allow people to sit this module in January so there won't be a paper...

There's no paper on the website for this module sat in Jan 2010 I just checked... The Jan 2010 sitting had papers for Units 1,2 and 4 plus the unit 3 taken by international students in place of the coursework..

Nuclear physics and thermal physics are really easy. The problem will be oscillations.

Hate oscillations, by far the worst and hardest topic for me.

Watch how our paper is going to be full of oscillation questions. :hmmm:

Questions in the recent edexcel papers are not that hard really...
I just hope they give us enough time....I screwed up the physics 1 paper short of a full mark purely due to time ( I had to tumble through the last pages lol).....but i guess that my fault since i get all panicky and stuff towards the end of the session...
Our school gives us much much harder and longer papers and thats where the panic mentality comes from....

I hope that the paper will all be about radioactivity lol
