I predict they will ask to explain the lifecycle of the Sun.
Yeah I think there probably will be a question on that :p:
I'm hoping there will be a nice question on nuclear binding energy or something. The one on the specimen was 6 marks and it's easy so would be nice.

    That will be fun.

I predict that we won't get much on nuclear half-lifes because it came up in the Unit 6B paper (alt. to practical)

I hate deriving equations, I always managed to mess it up and end up doing something like proving mc^2=mc^2 or whatever the equation involves haha.

    January - I got ****** up

June - wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. I think they were lying :p:
    I reckon I lost about 15 marks.

I don't know, I might have made more silly mistakes. Depends on marking too. I definitely need 107/120 for Unit 5 to give me hope.

Yeah, hope so. I did not revise much from Nuclear decay.

I need like 120UMS just to make sure

I think Unit 5 is probably the most interesting unit out of the whole of Physics.

    Love Astrophysics!

Thats true, and this unit seems to make alot more sense then the others so its not all that bad.
However out of all the topics, I can't tell which i dislike more astrophysics/cosmology or oscillations XD

Yep, it's certainly the most interesting Unit as for me.
Hope they won't come up with some boring questions on Nuclear Decay or Thermal Energy..

Hate oscillations! Unit 4 was interesting as well, i liked particle physics but EM fields was hard. Units 1 and 2 were incredibly boring.

I think there will be quite a big question on Thermal Physics.

Probably a 5 mark one on life cycle of a star.

I hope i don't panic as much as i did in the Unit 4 Jan paper.

I completely agree. SHM is a bit dodgy.

Why is Iron the limit for nuclear fusion?
The fusion of iron would subtract energy rather than provide it. (Endothermic).

... That didn't answer your question, but what the hey
    ... I don't think u need to know that.
