Did you get it? Who with? How much did you pay? What did it cover?

I'm only considering it because I'll be buying an £800 Sony Vaio in the summer and taking it with me so what sort of laptop cover was covered by your policy if you remember.

    Thanks.

First ask your parents to check if the parent's house contents covers student possessions away from home. Mine does. My brother's desk top was nicked at leeds and got replaced on the household insurance.

I'm with Endsleigh, they can cover any individual item up to £2000, but they do hae specific laptop cover, so just click laptop cover and you are asked to enter how much it is worth. Mine is worth quite a lot more than yours and it was no problem
