I dont really need to, by now most early-mid march interview places have been given.

Thus not many remain.

Its simple maths really.

It's normal, but her chances are very slim. If she doesn't get an interview within a week or so I'd be expecting a rejection.

Her personal statement was probably not as good as you thought.

Isnt it common sense though? its almost march and most unis give you at least 2 weeks notice before interview, so if you dont hear near the beginning of march your chances of interview are low especially as most cycles end around march. no.
