    Hey!

Well my first year hasn't gone so great in terms of making solid, close friends; I've got plenty of acquaintances, but noone to get a house with me, as such.

This leaves me with a dilemma for second year housing; I'm going to have to go with strangers (which isn't a problem in itself). I'm more concerned with actually finding the housing. Can anyone offer any advice on finding a flat/house for next year? The 'find a flatmate' sites are fairly **** for where I'm at (Penryn/Falmouth)

Gumtree? Although I'm not sure if this falls into the "find a flatmate" sites you speak of. Maybe check if you have a noticeboard in your union or student association.
